Dr. Burks is currently an advanced fellow in Geriatric Medicine with interests in Medical Education.

He completed Internal Medicine residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota followed by a clinical fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Duke University. He is currently an advanced fellow in Geriatric Medicine with interests in Medical Education, Post-Acute and Long-Term Care, and Quality Improvement.
Dr. Daniel Parker
The Cognitive Impairment Interactive Flowchart was reviewed by Dr. Parker. He completed Internal Medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School followed by clinical and research fellowships in Geriatric Medicine at Duke University. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Neurology at Duke University with interests in the biology of aging.
